Description

New food trends are bursting as quarantine persists—ranging from Dalgona Coffee, Banana bread, to Sourdough bread. The food workers behind the production of key ingredients we consume has also become “essential”, and are brought to the forefront of national discussion. This also bring to light the racial and economic inequalities and injustices that had plagued our food system in America. Issues such as the over- crowded living quarters, lack of access to health care, un-sanitized working conditions facing immigrant workers are more relevant today as ever. This documentary will explore the gap between our consumer culture and our awareness of the agricultural and industrial processes behind them.

Project is in progress. More information coming soon in June!
